Management Information
One of the functions of Policy, Planning and Governance is to compile and analyse data about the university and higher education generally, which is used by senior management and other areas of the university to devise policy and plan.
The internal university data is produced in many areas across the university, including HR, Finance, Registry & Governance Services and Research & Enterprise Office and is compiled by Policy, Planning and Governance. The data is used to compile the Management Information Handbook, Performance Indicators for the University Court and departmental profiles.
External data, for example RAE evidence reports, are used in the departmental profiles to benchmark departments against comparators in other institutions.
